# After 포스트미니멀리즘
[[postminimalism]]시기는 대략 60년 후반에서 70년도 [[Lucy Lippard]]가 큐레이팅한 뉴욕의 [[Fischbach Gallery]]에서 열린 “Eccentric Abstraction”란 제목의 전시에서 만들어진 신어라고 이야기되어진다 (이 용어는 [[Robert Pincus-Witten]]가 사용한 1971년까지 만들어지지 않았다.) [[Eva Hesse]]의 _Contingent_, 1969에서 가장 특징적으로 보여진다고 한다.

평면에서 벗어나는 이러한 작업의 방식 "미적 표면과 외부 공간 사이의 접촉", "표면의 색채 진동이 부여된" 흐름이 "환경 공간으로 향하는" 흐름은 이미 [[minimalism]]에서도 나타난다.
